Decorate Your Lodge Home With Rustic Bar Stools

Rustic bar stools will fit in well in a western or lodge style home. We generally use bar stool for seating but it can be a great part of our decor!

Bar stools can make a fun addition to your home furnishing collection. Depending on the store, you can buy these in several different designs, materials and colors. The color of the bar stools that you select should complement the design of the room and its theme. If you're looking to create a rustic look, try finding stools such as plain wooden ones with woven seats or wrought iron stools with cutout backs.

Rustic bar stools are practical purchases as well as being decorative. You'll want to select the stools that are a correct height for your counter or table. Measure the height of the stools before buying them to make sure they will fit your table or counter. There are different heights to bar stools therefore, in order for you to get the best fit from your bar stool you should have in mind where you are going to put it so you can make sure to buy one that is the best height. Choose bar stools that give you 10 to 13 inches of space between the seat and the bottom of the table or counter.

Remember to also account for the appropriate number of barstools. Optimum bar stool spacing is 25 to 30 inches between seat middle and seat middle. Measuring from the middle of one seat to the middle of the next, space your barstools about 25 to 30 inches apart. If you divide a counter length by twenty-eight, that is the number of chairs you are looking for.
